Travel Insurance and Force Majeure

Travel Insurance is a vital part of any holiday and we recommend trip insurance with full cancellation cover by Travel Ex. Holidays, trips/tours are planned by Island Bwoy Travel using independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels etc., over whom we have no direct control. In rare cases where there are mishaps, neglect or human error on the part of these suppliers, we will work within the parameters of the existing agreement, laws and regulations to recover any compensation owed as a result thereof.

We do not accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented, affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss or expense of any nature as a result of “force majeure”. This is defined as events we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid and includes but is not limited to actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
